Advanced Diploma – Risk unit (RIIRIS601E) [TRSIS1]

This unit titled, “RIIRIS601E Establish and Maintain the Risk Management Systems” addresses the establishment, support and implementation of risk management systems. This course aims to provide tools and knowledge so attendees can demonstrate competency by completing a preliminary Principal Hazard Management Plan or similar project.

Diploma of Surface Operations Management [TRSIS2]

This course is our most popular program because of the face to face contact which allows learning from other attendees as well as from the Facilitator. This Diploma is also the minimum educational requirement to obtain a WA Quarry Managers Certificate of Competency.  We are currently scoped for the latest 2021 release, coded RII50120.   The training is undertaken in three blocks: Block 1: five mining units, Block 2:  five management units and Block 3: three mining units.

Cert IV in Surface Extraction Operations [TRSIS3]

TNLC Thrivability Training & Coaching Pty Ltd offers the Certificate IV in Surface Extraction Operations by the public training and assessment pathway. It is also available in-house for residential site. The training programs involves undertaking 13 units. Note this qualification provide direct entry into the Diploma of Surface Operations Management which can lead on to the ability to obtain a WA Quarry Managers certificate of competency.

Diploma of Mineral Processing (Training & Assessment Pathway) [TRSIS5]

This qualification reflects the role of mineral processing facility line management who perform tasks involving a high level of autonomy and requiring the application of significant judgement in planning and determining the selection of equipment/ roles/ techniques for themselves and others. 16 units are required to achieve this qualification which involves a broad range of technical, managerial, coordination and planning and implement management plans.

Certificate IV in Resource Processing (Training & Assessment Pathway) [TRSIS7]

This qualification reflects the role of employees such as a supervisor or team leader working in a metal or coal processing facility. They perform tasks involving a broad range of varied activities most of which are complex and non-routine. They are responsible for the quantity and quality of the output of others, contribute to the development of technical solutions to non-routine problems and apply safety management plans to the workplace. 12 units are required, 4 core and 8 electives, to achieve this qualification.

Certificate IV in Metalliferous Mining Operations (Underground) (Training & Assessment Pathway) [TRSIS8]

This qualification reflects the role of employees such as a Supervisor or Team leader in an underground metalliferous mine. They perform tasks involving a broad range of varied activities most of which are complex and non-routine. They are responsible for the quantity and quality of the output of others, contribute to the development of technical solutions to non-routine problems and apply mine management plans to the workplace. This qualification is not applicable to coal mining.

Supervisor Skills Set (Training & Assessment Pathway) [TRSIS9]

TNLC Thrivability Training & Coaching Pty Ltd offers a suggested Supervisors Skills Set by the public training and assessment pathway. It is also available for private delivery on-site. The training program involves undertaking 5 units of competency which form part of the Certificate IV in Surface Extraction Operations. These units are also valid across many workplace sectors, not just resources. Completion of these units may assist to provide direct entry into the Diploma of Surface Operations Management which can lead on to the ability to obtain a WA Quarry Managers certificate of competency.
